Welcome to the Church of Saint Mary Syderstone

Summer dawn at Syderstone © Jon Bunting

Saint Mary's is the parish church for the communities of Syderstone, Barmer, Blenheim Park and Wicken Green Village. Click here for How to Find Us.
The church is open every day of the year during daylight hours and vistors are always welcome. We've recently erected large signs on the Docking Road to make the church easier to find.
A historic round tower church of Norman origins in its present form, people have been coming to worship, meet together, celebrate Christmas, Lent, Easter and Harvest, be married, unite at christenings, and pay respect to family and friends at funerals, for around thirty generations.

Services at St Mary's

Eucharist Services - alternate FRIDAYS at 10 am (please see benefice calendar for full details)

Praise Service - 2nd SUNDAY of each month at 4pm

Morning Worship - 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am

All of the services are inclusive and relaxed, with opportunities for discussion and reflection. The Eucharists and Praise Services are conducted by our rector, Fr Clive Wylie SCP with the Authorised Worship Assistants leading the Morning Worship services.

Refreshments are served after all services.

There is a Benefice Eucharist each Sunday at 10 am in The Church of Our Lady Saint Mary, South Creake. This service is live-streamed to the Creake Benefice YouTube channel.
